John and my tradition is to go for a New Years Day Hike. This year I was on call so we went on New Years Eve. First time Ollie saw snow, was in his Kelty pack, in a mini-blizzard and his first New Years Eve hike.
Ollie trying solids. He also for the first time cried when we took his spoon away and then stopped when he got his spoon back. Way to develop Ollie!

Christmas morning. Ollie got up at 5:30 in the morning which meant that mommy and daddy did too. It was actually quite nice, we turned on the fire and sat looking out at the creek together and mommy and daddy gave eachotehr their Christmas cards. Quiet time in the morning.
Christmas Eve dinner. Ollie just started trying solids which he hasn't been too interested in. He likes his bowl and spoon better. However, he got his hands on the standing rib roast bone and went to town. Grandma's idea...
